Education is key to professional growth and career advancement in the turfgrass industry, and Penn State World Campus allows you to obtain turfgrass education entirely online while staying on your professional career track.
We offer three online programs for today's turfgrass management professional:
These programs have been approved by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) for 1.5 education points per college credit hour toward meeting entry and/or renewal requirements for Class A and/or Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) status. And Penn State now accepts the GCSAA certification portfolio as the equivalent of up to 18 credit hours that can be applied toward the online bachelor's degree in turfgrass science.
