Turf Drainage Company of America, located in Harvey, Louisiana, has been a leader in golf course drainage since 1983. TDA has four patents in the field of seepage drainage, including the Turf Drain Siphon System.
The Turf Drain Siphon System is the first drainage system where you can install drainage without the need to grade pipe. Piping can go over mounding or into an ungraded trench. It has application in flat coastal properties where there is a need to take the water a long distance with little elevation change. Any property where grading pipe may be difficult, such as rocky property or a course with lots of underground obstructions, can benefit from a Turf Drain Siphon System.
Every successful drainage project starts with a plan, and master drainage plans are a specialty of Turf Drainage Co. of America. Whether you need to drain one hole or 18 holes, TDA will design the best system for your property, build the parts, and work with trained contractors until project completion. TDA's specialty is draining your course without the need to close.
Turf Drainage Company of America has planned projects at over 300 golf courses all over the United States, including many of America's top 100 courses). Plans have ranged in size from as small as one-half of a fairway to an 18-hole complete Master plan. TDA sends a drainage expert on-site to analyze your problem and to find the best solution for your property. Once the plan is completed, the club will have a clear picture of not only the best solution for their problem, but also a realistic appraisal of the cost and length of the project. Once planned, many courses will implement the project over many years. This allows courses to fit the work into their budget, and to never have to completely close to play.

The new Mini IDP is a revolutionary concept in golf course drainage. The patent pending system is a hybrid of technologies that combines the best of the patented Turf Drain Siphon System, along with the uniqueness of Turf Drain Irrigation Driven Pumps. There is no need to run an electrical supply to the pump. You don't even need to run a wire to the controller for valve control. Everything is contained in the patented Permeable Basin, and turns on and off as needed without any power source. In addition, the critical components of the unit can be serviced and replaced from above. Just remove the grate and access all of the moving parts.
