Ptarmigan is a Jack Nicklaus signature design, private 18-hole country club located in Fort Collins, CO. We will be hosting the 2024 CSU women’s collegiate tournament for the 25th year. This will be a terrific opportunity to display landscaping skills across the golf course. This landscape internship at Ptarmigan Country Club will allow you to get hands on experience with all aspects of horticulture and landscaping. This includes, but is now limited to: Flower bed design Flower bed maintenance on the golf course and clubhouse area Weed management with use of chemicals and fertilizers Maintaining drip irrigation Scheduling and managing small crews Involvement in the landscape budget You will have creative freedom with flower bed design and layout with approval from the Golf Course Superintendent.
