Irrigation Technician
Colorado Golf Club is currently hiring for our Irrigation Tech position. This is a full time/entry level management position with benefits, best suited for self motivated individuals with prior internship and AIT experience. The irrigation tech will be responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and programming of a Toro Lynx system with VP field control units. Previous knowledge regarding the repair of PVC piping, irrigation heads, and electrical troubleshooting is preferred. You will also be asked to assist in crew supervision and training as this position will prepare you for the goal of advancing as an Assistant within the club.
Colorado Golf Club is a 27 hole championship facility that prides itself on frugal water usage to produce fast and firm conditioning as the former site of both the 2010 Senior PGA Championship and 2013 Solheim Cup. These conditions are a demand of the property and this position will have a direct effect on those results. The start date will be shortly after March 1st.
Educational Requirements
Completion of a two or four year degree or certificate in a related field
Experience Requirements
Previous experience with irrigation repair and trouble shooting is necessary as well as a completion of an internship and preferable AIT or Foreman experience.
Special Requirements
Candidate must be reliable, self-motivating, have a positive attitude, be a team player and willing to perform the tasks asked of them. This position is an entry level management position and will require a candidate capable of planning and managing other crew members. along with solid irrigation repair experience.
