Seasonal Intern


Colorado Golf Club, host of the 2013 Solheim Cup and 2010 Senior PGA Championship, features an 18 hole championship course and 9 hole Par 3 course designed by Coore and Crenshaw. Interns will be given the opportunity to work alongside the Assistants in managing everyday maintenance practices as well assigned projects in addition to having a key role in moisture management, fertility management and application. Interns will also be involved in irrigation repair, maintenance and diagnostics, and will be expected to perform tasks as a team to provide the best golfing experience possible at Colorado Golf Club. This position will also have the opportunity to be involved in the planning and execution of maintenance plans for our 9 hole short course, allowing the interns directly supervise crews and to utilize the knowledge they gain within this program. This is a great opportunity for those looking to produce championship conditions at a facility that expects them on a daily basis and to further their understanding of the turf-grass industry.

Educational Requirements

Enrollment in or completion of an accredited turfgrass program or a similar major

Experience Requirements

Some experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidates

Candidate must be reliable, self-motivating, have a positive attitude, and be willing to contribute to a team atmosphere. This program is intended to prepare our interns for future sucess in our industry, so the ability to create opportunity and take on responsibility as delegated is critical to success.
