    Irrigation Water Quality: Troubleshooting Your Water and Soil to Find Practical Solutions

    All over the country mandates are being passed requiring golf courses to irrigate with effluent and other lower quality water. In order to maintain high quality turf, you need to understand the challenges that go along with high sodium and salts in your water and soil and their effect on turf grass.     Understanding Water Repellency: Its Causes & Treatments

    Water repellency is an issue nearly all turf managers will have to deal with in their careers. Ken Mauser, of Aquatrols will examine the basic reasons water won’t penetrate and the effect that water repellency has on turf. He will also identify what maintenance practices and chemicals you can use to overcome water repellent soils and maintain healthier turf.
