Fall-winter prep: Managing fine turf in low light with limited water

Event details

Despite the heavy rainfall in many parts of the northeastern U.S. this summer, managing turfgrass with limited water remains an important consideration, particularly as we head into the fall and winter season(s).

In addition, and as the sun angle declines during the autumn months, improving turf performance in low light conditions helps with playability in the fall and can lead to better winter hardiness.

In this webinar, Gordon Kauffman III, Ph.D. of Brandt/Grigg, will discuss how these two environmental conditions affect plant physiology, review important cultural practices to improve turf vigor, and provide insight about new technologies and how they fit into a management strategy, including the most current science. register_button.png.b76bece2190ce3accf5dca4c0a3ae955.png
