    Our goal is a happy work force.  With that mindset, we are not going to press you to work a job and make it your life.  Delaware Valley Turf is a turf management business with the main location in Broomall, Delaware County of Pennsylvania.  We also have two other branch locations.  One is in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and the other is in Newark, Delaware.  We can help you continue to manage turf and still have time to spend with your family and friends.  You can take time off in the summer when there is so much more to do rather than work 6 to 7 days a week.  In fact we encourage vacation time in the summer when our operations slow down.      You see, we love turf management.  We started on golf course crews and like you and aspired to be a golf course superintendent.  However, life got in the way of our dream and we are glad it did.  Realizing that the same principles applied to lawns and athletic fields, we grew this company to where it is today.  Today we manage over 8000 commercial and residential customers.  We work on everything from college campuses to small residential lawns.  Our goal is the same as the golf course superintendent's, great looking grass.  We would like to utilize your agronomic knowledge and training to provide first class turf management programs.     Our great customer service and excellent turf results have helped us to grow quickly.  Now we need another lawn care route manager for our company.  We are looking for a mature person who is working in the turf industry.  We are not going to go into all of the skills needed, you already know that.  What I am going to say is you need a valid driver’s license and have a great attitude.  We are looking for a “people person” to add to our, can do it, positive culture.     It would be best if you are familiar with turf application equipment and willing to undergo a basic background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.     What are the benefits in this position?  It is full time. The Lawn Maintenance Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and appearance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces. This role involves routine lawn care, including mowing, trimming, and edging, as well as basic landscape maintenance. The Laborer will work under the direction of a supervisor or Lawn Maintenance Foreman and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and service. Key Responsibilities: - Mow, trim, and edge lawns using various types of equipment, such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, and edgers. - Prune and trim shrubs, bushes, and small trees to maintain shape and appearance. - Remove weeds, dead plants, and debris from flower beds, walkways, and other areas. - Mulch and prepare soil for planting, including adding compost or other soil amendments. - Collect and dispose of leaves, clippings, branches, and other debris from job sites. - Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after tasks are completed. - Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment and materials on job sites. - Communicate any issues or observations about the landscape to the supervisor or Foreman. - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. - Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
