Atlantic Golf and Turf is looking for an organized, self-directed, and sales-driven Director with good agronomic skills and a passion for the seed industry. RESPONSIBILTIES: Manage all aspects of grass seed business including: · Procurement, inventory management, blend production and assist with sales and marketing. • Ride along with Team to sales appointments when needed. • Advise and coordinate quotes and orders. • Work up quotes for bids. • Develop and train AGT sales team on seed selling technique and product information. • Develop, implement, and guide seed marketing activities throughout the year, with a focus on customer retention and expanding/developing seed customers. • Plan and coordinate seed production, keeping required records. Ensure facility maintenance to avoid injuries and machine damage. Lead operational excellence by driving various initiatives to achieve efficiencies and possible cost optimization.
