Rated #5 in the State of Connecticut by Golf Digest. Tamarack Country Club was designed by legendary architect Charles Banks, opening in 1929.  Brian Silva recently directed renovation work. In 2016 the course hosted the MGA Mid-Amateur Championship. Tamarack is located in Greenwich Connecticut approximately 30 minutes from New York City. Educational Requirements

Student presently enrolled in Turf Management Program or candidate having completed a two/four year degree. 

Experience Requirements

Two-three years of hands on golf course experience, preferable coming from a 18 hole course. Familiarities with water management (hand syringing), pesticide/fertilizer applications  and irrigation repair are expected.

Special Requirements

Tamarack Country Club strives to provide it's membership with championship playing conditions on a daily basis.  Applicant must fully understand the commitment necessary to achieve this goal. Applicant works closely with Superintendent in all areas related to management and course maintenance. 5 year master plan includes: Greens re-construction, bunker work, irrigation upgrades and green surround renovation.
