Justin McKay, 121 Field Club Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15238,
Pittsburgh Field Club is a private 18 hole country club, established in 1882, located just 8 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.
“The Field Club”, as it’s known in Pittsburgh, hosted the 1937 PGA Championship, the 1959 Western Open, and is the annual host for the Frank Fuhrer Invitational.
The course was designed by Alexander Findlay in 1914. In 2012 Keith Foster developed a Master Plan for the club. In recent years we have executed a bunker and green surrounds renovation, fairway re-contouring, a complete driving range renovation, and just completed, a state of the art short game area. Future projects include tee and cart path renovations, and a new irrigation system.
An internship at The Field Club provides comprehensive experience in all aspects of championship level golf course maintenance.
In recent years successful Interns have been promoted to Assistant positions upon graduation.
