Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, the Old Works Golf Course has been reborn on the site of Anaconda's historic century old copper smelter. Jack Nicklaus incorporated many historic relics in his Signature design. With its affordability, course conditioning and friendly service, Old Works has built a reputation as one of the premiere daily fee golf experiences in the Northwest region.

Old Works is looking for a dedicated individual eager to learn and improve their skills in golf course maintenance. You should have a positive attitude in pursuing a career as a golf course superintendent. Applicants should be self starters, enthusiastic, professional, be able to problem solve, and able to work well with others.
Since Old Works Golf Club is an EPA Superfund site, interns will be exposed to all aspects of environmental maintenance and compliance of the Superfund features on the golf course. In addition to high end golf course maintenance practices, you will get to experience sustainable land management and mine waste reclamation.
Interns will also be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance including, but not limited to, fertilizer & chemical application and equipment calibration, moisture management, hand-watering, course set-up,equipment operation & maintenance, tournament setup, and course project supervision.
