Atlanta Athletic Club is a private 36 hole course, located 25 miles North of Atlanta. The club has played host to multiple PGA events and most recently hosted the 2017 Palmer Cup. In 2016, the Highlands received a complete course renovation by Rees Jones. The Riverside Course continues to carry out in house projects to keep up with the club's standards. Educational Requirements

Enrolled in a 2 year or 4 year Turf Management related field or Certificate program.

Experience Requirements

No experience required,but prior golf course experience is a plus.

Special Requirements

Atlanta Athletic Club is seeking an individual that is hard working, driven to be successful, and willing to be exposed to all aspects of the golf course industry. The intern will work closely with the AIT, Assistant Superintendents and the Superintendent to make sure the course meets the high quality and standards the Atlanta Athletic Club expects daily. Our goal is to prepare the individual to confidently take the step to being an Assistant in Training Superintendent, when the opportunity presents itself. The individual will have the unique opportunity to work on both 18 hole championship courses.
