Louisville Country Club sits in the heart of Louisville Kentucky home of the Kentucky Derby and Bourbon.  Louisville is the largest metro city in the state with plenty of things to do and see. Louisville Country Club was established in 1908 and designed by Thomas Bendelow and later work in the 1920s by Walter Travis.  LCC went under a full renovation in 2004 and reopened in 2005. The assistant golf course superintendent reports directly to the golf course superintendent. Under the superintendent’s supervision, the assistant directs and participates in the overall maintenance of the golf course.

Educational Requirements

2 or 4 years of higher education in Golf and Turf Grass Management or a related field. Spanish speaking abilities are a plus

Experience Requirements

We are currently looking for individuals that are self- motivated.  In this position the candidate would be responsible for but not limited to fertilizer/pesticide application and calibration, irrigation repairs, hand watering, course set up, and managing the crew, scheduling, assisting with budgeting.

Special Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Pesticide license
