Fiddlesticks Country Club is a 36 hole facility in Fort Myers, FL. The Loch Ness golf course was recently renovated with all new turf and Toro irrigation system. All Greens are TifEagle, with TifGrand Collars. All other playing areas are Celebration Bermudagrass.The Green and Grounds department is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the Assistant Superintendent position of the Loch Ness Golf Course. The Assistant will report to the Superintendent of the Loch Ness Golf Course. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance his or her career, and one day become a Golf Course Superintendent. We believe in promotion within. The candidate must be able to comprehend basic turf management skills. Must be able to schedule task and manage a team of 15+ crew members, and deliver tournament ready conditions on a daily basis.

Applicants must understand they will primarily be working outside under Florida weather environments which may include hot summer days, cold mornings, and rainy conditions.

Educational Requirements

2-year degree in turfgrass management or related field of study, preferred. The ability to obtain a Florida Turf and Ornamental Pesticide License within 90 days, and Certified in Florida Golf- BMP within 1 year.

Experience Requirements

2+ years working with warm-season turfgrass.
