The Ardsley Country Club is an 18 hole private club in the heart of Dobbs Ferry, New York. Originally built in 1895 with the design of Willie Dunn. With later changes made by Donald Ross, Alister Mackenzie, and Robert Trent Jones. The most recent renovation was completed in 2005 by Ken Dye.
The assistant superintendent would work directly with the superintendent. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
scouting for issues across the course
applications of chemical and fertilizer
routine daily maintenance
Turf Certificate, A.S., or B.S. in turf management or related field
Applicant should have a good work ethic and a passion for turf management. Be driven to complete the tasks at hand with a good attitude. Prior experience on golf courses is ideal, as well as a knowledge and love for the game of golf. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation issues. knowledge of how to operate various machines ranging from small rotary mowers up to large heavy machinery.
Knowledge of the game is ideal
NYS pesticide license or the ability to get one
