Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities: The assistant will be involved in all aspects of golf course management that include budgeting, scheduling, irrigation set-up and repair, chemical applications, as well as all day to day operations of the golf course. A candidate ready to work hard and learn championship conditioning will ensure the success in taking the next step in becoming a superintendent.
Operations: The Country Club of Waterbury was established in 1899 and designed by the famed Donald Ross. The course was recently recognized by Golfweek as one of the Top 200 classical Golf courses in the United States. The Board of Directors has recently approved a Master Plan Renovation in which 2 holes have been completed. The renovation includes green expansions, renovating all bunkers on the course, and a few new tees.
Educational Requirements
Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 year degree or certificate.
Experience Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of golf course experience.
