Responsibilities:Qualified candidates will assist the
Superintendent and Assistants in all facets of golf course
maintenance, including, but not limited to, daily course set up,
irrigation scheduling, fertilizer and pesticide calibration and
application, aerating, seeding, sodding, syringing, and managing
crews on small projects.A candidate ready to work hard and learn
championship conditioning will ensure the success in taking the next
step in becoming an assistant superintendent.
Operations: The Country Club of Waterbury was established in 1899 and designed by the famed Donald Ross.The course is in the beginning stages of a Master Plan which will bring back characteristics of the original design.The club annually hosts the CSGA Russell G. Palmer 54-hole amateur stroke play championship.
Qualifications: Candidate must be enrolled in a reputable turf program
Experience preferred but not required.
