Equipment/Shop Manager

Bethesda Country Club is looking for a highly motivated individual to maintain and improve their Fleet Management and Equipment Operation.  The members at BCC have invested roughly 1.2 million dollars in the equipment fleet over the last 4 seasons, plus a new GPS sprayer lease this spring.  The club is finishing a bunker renovation, new irrigation system, and some tee renovation in the next 3 weeks.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training/degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

Head Equipment Manager experience or very experienced Assistant will be considered.
- Knowledge of small/large engine repair, reel maintenance, electrical, and welding experience a plus
-Computer skills, with the ability to keep up to date records of equipment serviced, inventory, etc. Being on the cutting edge of technology is a plus.
-Own proper tools needed to perform daily maintenance/repairs on all equipment

We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking individual willing to efficiently manage an extensive equipment fleet, along with tracking parts inventory and cost repair of each piece of equipment.

-Dedication to personal and team improvements to better the overall shop experience. Good communication skills with ability to work independently and as a team.
-Have an eye for detail regarding cutting unit precision, shop neatness and cleanliness, and equipment fleet condition.
-Responsible for the up keep and preventative maintenance of a large equipment fleet taking pride in the fleet, understanding the financial investment the membership has made.
-Ability to hire and train an assistant equipment technician.

-Aid in recommending operating and capital equipment purchases to the Golf Course Superintendent.
- Flexible schedule and hours.
