Assistant Superintendent

Individual must have the following qualities:

  • Energetic, detail oriented, clean, neat, innovative thinker and able to adapt well to changing environments 
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Must be computer literate and good with Microsoft word, excel, etc
  • Ability to calibrate, operate and maintain spraying and spreading equipment
  • Maintains inventory or products as well as submitting requisitions for re-stocking of materials
  • Maintains compliance with all local, State, and Federal laws pertaining to chemical storage, handling, applications and disposal
  • Possession of or ability to obtain Florida Turf and Ornamental pesticide applicators license
  • Performs other duties as determined by the Golf Course Superintendent 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holiday's
  • Experience handling multi cultural staff

Educational Requirements

2 to 4 year degree in Agronomy, Turf grass management or related or experience equivalent 

Experience Requirements

2 to 4 years of golf course experience or educational equivalent.  Although, open to interview any applicant in a related field who has the passion, strong work ethic and is willing to learn
