Cleveland Country Club was established in 1924 and is an 18-hole private club just outside Chattanooga, TN. Cleveland Country Club is a growing facility with many amenities to offer our membership. We have L-93 bentgrass greens and the remaining maintained areas consist of 419 bermudagrass. We also have a small practice facility with a TifEagle bermudagrass green provided by Lee University. The club is home to Lee University men and women golf team. In the past two years, we have hosted the womens NCAA Division II tournament as well as the boys and girls TN State Jr Amateur tournament.
The Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the Superintendent to plan daily and weekly plans. Jobs requirements include but are not limited to pesticide applications and daily logs, moisture management of putting surfaces, irrigation repair, equipment operations, supervise and assist staff with daily operations, ect.
2-4 year degree in turf management or related field
2-4 years experience in management position (non-entry level)
Obtain TN state pesticide license
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, strong work ethic and career driven
Required to work scheduled weekends, select holidays, tournaments, and work extended hours during growing season.
