Trump National Golf Club Washington DC is a private 36 hole facility. Trump National features two extraordinary courses in an idyllic setting along the Potomac River.Trump National DC is a very busy club, which continues to invest to better our member’s experience.Trump National DC was the host site for the 2017 Senior PGA Championship and 2013 Junior PGA Championship.
·Assists in planning and supervising the maintenance of golf course property; schedules work; and supervises the employees and the use of the equipment.
·Ensures subordinate staff complies with all rules, policies and procedures as outlined in the TNGC DC Employee Handbook
·Trains employees how to safely and efficiently do their job tasks as it relates to the golf course operation.
·Run the daily operations to ensure the golf course is set properly for the day
·Interviews, hires, trains, directs, and supervises a staff of employees for the purpose of maintaining the property.
·Supervising and participating in the operation and maintenance of pumps and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
·Instructs equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment; supervises pesticide applications and/or operates and calibrates pesticide application equipment.
·Assists in personnel management and evaluation, employee safety and personnel discipline.
·Assist with ordering and keeping inventory of office and golf course supplies.This includes monitoring purchasing, receiving, and ensuring invoices and packing slips are accurate and signed.
·Schedules daily irrigation – This includes ensuring all hand watering and supplemental irrigation is complete as well as programming irrigation computer on a daily basis.
·Schedules and supervises general golf course construction projects.
·Monitor and communicate turfgrass issues associated with moisture, pests, and disease to golf course superintendent.
·Chemical & Fertilizer application data recording
Two or four year degree in turfgrass management, a turf certificate or related field. Must be able to obtain Virginia Pesticide license within 90 days.
·Ability to safely apply fertilizers and pesticides.
·Maintain a positive attitude, professional manner and appearance at all times.
·Able to perform basic mathematic calculations, calibrations, and able to convert and understand fractions, decimals, and percentages.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
·Computer skills to include proficiency with word processing, and spreadsheets.
· Strong work ethic and focused on career goals.
· Sharp attention to detail.
· Team oriented, willing to listen, present ideas, and lead
· Moisture management and RainBird Satellite& IC irrigation system.
