What you will do:
Monitor and adjust resources, personnel, and workflow to achieve daily production and delivery goals.
Collaborate with project leaders to align activities and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Ensure your team has all of the necessary equipment, materials, and safety training to be successful.
Manage the work performance of your employees and subcontractors.
Resolve problems that arise during the workday.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, with strict attention to safety.
·Assist with general laborer and equipment operation tasks as needed.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly administrative reports/documents.
·Minimum of two years of previous experience leading an employee group required.
·High School Diploma or GED required. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for required education.
What we are looking for:
·3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
·General or golf course irrigation system installation experience.
·Working knowledge of basic electricity related to irrigation systems, including automatic valves, controllers, pumps, and pumping systems.
·Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
·Ability to operate heavy construction equipment including tractor, dump trailer, sod cutter, skid steer, trencher, backhoe, dump truck and other similar equipment.
This is a "field" position and as such requires travel with extended stays at specific job locations. Outdoor working conditions will be wide ranging from hot summer weather, rain and cold winter temperatures.
