Founded in 1899, Franklin Country Club is an 18 hole private country club and pool facility with 370 members. We host approximately 20,000+ annual rounds. FCC is home to several of the Northeast region's top amateur players. With a highly active and demanding membership, the greens department strives to provide tournament conditions on a consistent basis. The A.I.T will report directly to the superintendent and assistants. As a member of the Franklin team you will play an intricate role in managing tournament type conditions on a daily basis. Whether you have multiple years of experience or just getting started, we will tailor your responsibilities to get the most out of you and help you grow. daily learning experience; questions and discussions about agronomic, cultural, and management practices are encouraged. The A.I.T will become proficient in daily course preparation, agronomic practices, irrigation repair and maintenance, chemical/fertilizer calibration and application, record keeping, water management, and career development. The club has an excellent history of promoting from within, and the A.I.T will have the opportunity to keep advancing within the company. Educational Requirements

  • Graduates with a degree or certificate, or on track to graduate.
  • Be enrolled or planning to be enrolled  in some form of turf certificate program or similar. 

Experience Requirements

1 + year of golf course maintenance preferred. We will train the right individual.

Special Requirements

A.I.T.'s will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance and play a large role in the agronomic program. The A.I.T. will work closely with the Superintendent and the Assistants to gain the necessary knowledge and skillset to move up into an Assistant position. The A.I.T. will be provided with an excellent opportunity to develop solid agronomic practices to advance their career.
