Hamilton Farm Golf Club is a 36 hole high end private club designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. Situated on rolling farmland in NJ horse country and an hour and a half from New York City, Philadelphia and NJ shore points. HFGC is a golf club with only golf and dining as the amenities with over 500 members and we continue to grow that membership. The Highlands golf course is our Championship golf course stretched out over 7200 yds. and has held 5 LPGA events. The Hickory golf course is the only USGA rated Par 3 in the world and is ranked as one of the best Par 3 courses in the world. Both the Highlands and the Hickory courses are maintained to a championship standard on a daily basis. The Highlands golf course is currently undergoing a bunker renovation and this is a perfect time for an Assistant Superintendent be part of that process and gain knowledge in renovation. In addition to the bunker renovation on the Highlands course we will be renovating the par 3 tees on the Highlands, reducing fairway acreage, adding championship tees and transitioning to the Hickory Golf Course to do a full bunker renovation along with other club capital improvement projects.
The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Director of Grounds and the Golf Course Superintendent in daily scheduling and supervising the execution of all maintenance activities. This position is open because of one of our Assistants moved on to be a Golf Course Superintendent.
The ideal candidate will have completed a two or four year degree in Agronomy, Golf Course Management, Horticulture or related field.
Previous golf course experience is required with at least two years of that experience as a Second Assistant or Assistant in Training. Positive attitude, team work, pride and respect are all paramount characteristics needed from the ideal candidate and the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate will carry a positive attitude in every situation and be responsible by nature.

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively both verbal and written and be able to hold a professional relationship with all members of staff, other departments and membership.
The ideal candidate should know the importance of working hard and putting your best foot forward to present the best possible golfing experience for members and guests.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing a team, oversee projects, chemical and granular applications and multiple cultural processes.
Possess a NJ Pesticide Applicators license or the ability to obtain a license within 90 days.
