Willows Run Golf Complex is a 45 hole facility, consisting of two 18 hole golf courses, a 9-hole Par 3 course and a 18 hole artificial turf putting course. 90,000-100,000 rounds per year on the two 18 hole courses. Average $1.2 million dollar maintenance budget.

Salary starts $110,000 fixed for the first year - Guaranteed regardless of performance.
% of net income would be Paid as bonus after 12 month of service.

$300K annual capital expenditure on top of budget would lead to growth year after year but how fast and big depends on ability of greens keeper to maintain and improve the quality of greens and course conditions. Maintenance budget likely to increase based on performance of previous year, but would not decrease in bad years. As for competent superintendents, opportunity for growth is unlimited.

Knowledge and Skills
Ability to produce high quality greens are deal breaker ability. Dry Ject twice a year, more equipment are purchasable. higher quality materials are purchasable.
Knowledge of use and operating standards of equipment and tools used in golf course maintenance.
Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals.
Knowledge of irrigation pump and pond maintenance.
Communication between General Manager.
minimum 3-5 years experience as a Golf Superintendent in a private country club. Must have a good review.
4 year degree or certificate in Turf Management or related field.
Basic computer skills and irrigation system.
Pesticide application certification
Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
Able to meet and perform the physical requirements of work requirements
80 hour paid vacation, increased to 120 hour the second year.
