Willows Run Golf Complex is a 45 hole facility, consisting of two 18 hole golf courses, a 9-hole Par 3 course and a 18 hole artificial turf putting course. 90,000-100,000 rounds per year on the two 18 hole courses. Average $1.2 million dollar maintenance budget.

 Growing public golf course in prime location. One of the busiest golf courses in WA.  Currently in great condition greens.

Please don't be intimidated by the size of the golf course.

Task schedules, frequencies of mowing, staff schedule already exists for your reference.

Willows will operate on its own with daily mowing, maintenance of machines, etc.  Cultural programs we rely on superintendents. 


Looking for superintendents who would like to grow with us.

Salary starts $110,000 fixed for the first year  - Guaranteed regardless of performance.

% of net income would be Paid as bonus after 12 month of service.

Monthly feedback on your net income so we are transparent (historically more than $10,000 in bonus.)

and also $10,000 signing bonus is limited offer if applicant is able to relocate by May 10th, on top of relocation cost coverage. 


 $300K annual capital expenditure on top of budget would lead to growth year after year but how fast  and big depends on ability of greens keeper to maintain and improve  the quality of greens and course conditions.  Maintenance budget likely to increase based on performance of previous year, but would not decrease in bad years. As for competent superintendents, opportunity for growth is unlimited.


Certified superintendents starts from ($150  and over)

Willows is all about the greens. The ability to improve the quality of the greens and condition are the highest priority and who we seek for.

With Capable superintendents, there are room for increasing the budget since we know its up to budget how much we can improve.

We look for experiences in high-end golf clubs and has been superintendent in those country club for at least 2 years.



Job Duties
  • Maintain all grounds and course maintenance equipment.
  • Supervises and participates in application and recording of fertilizer and pesticide applications in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Operates and maintains drainage, irrigation and watering systems.
  • Supervises staff in proper and safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Manages monthly expenses including payroll, supplies, chemicals, and fertilizers to align with budget
  • safety training for equipment use, proper handling of fertilizers, herbicides and all other chemicals used on course. Has up to date MSDS’s. 
  • schedules, trains, supervises staff.
  • communication between General Managers regarding goals, plans, monthly updates, etc.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to produce high quality greens  are deal breaker ability. Dry Ject twice a year, more equipment are purchasable.  higher quality materials are purchasable. 
  • Knowledge of use and operating standards of equipment and tools used in golf course maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals.
  • Knowledge of irrigation pump and pond maintenance.
  • Communication between General Manager.
  • minimum 3-5 years experience as a Golf Superintendent in a private country club. Must have a good review.
  • 4 year degree or certificate in Turf Management or related field. 
  • Basic computer skills  and irrigation system.
  • Pesticide application certification
  • Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
  • Able to meet and perform the physical requirements of work requirements

80 hour paid vacation, increased to 120 hour the second year.
