The Cove Creek Club Golf Course & Maintenance Superintendent will report to the Director of Agronomy. S/he will oversee and lead all aspects of the day-to-day maintenance operations. The Golf Course & Maintenance Superintendent will work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional golf experience, excellent landscaping for the homeowners association, and provide excellent services to members and guests.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall operation and management of the Golf Club golf course, practice facilities, and Club grounds.
Recruits, trains and supervises golf course maintenance operations personnel.
In concert with the General Manager and DOA, develops capital and operational budgets for the golf course maintenance operation and, after approval, manages their implementation.
Provides exceptional experiences for members and guests
Assists the General Manager in developing/implementing short and long-term capital projects, operational standards, and personnel documents.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a golf course superintendent or assistant. He/she will have earned at least an Associate’s Degree in Turfgrass Management or related field, possess sound leadership and management practices, solid interpersonal and written communication skills, and a proven agronomic track record.
Compensation: 55,000 - 65,000 annual salary.
