Seasonal Intern

Charlotte Country Club is a private 18-hole facility dating back to 1910 with an original Donald Ross design restored in 2007. Over the tree line you can see the Charlotte skyline located just 4 miles west of the property. Our internship program offers students and graduates hands on experience in every facet of golf course management ranging from equipment operation, application of fertilizers and pesticides, water management and daily golf course set up. In addition to experience gained on the course, our Golf Course Superintendent provides bi-weekly educational meetings covering topics such as professionalism, marketability, calibration, nutrition requirements and timing, soil testing, irrigation, budgeting, and compound and fertilizer programs.

Club Facilities

Our historic 68,000 square foot Clubhouse was restored in 2008-2009. The Golf Learning Center was constructed this past year that includes top of the line training technology and lounge areas for our members. Our outstanding tennis facilities include 12 clay courts and 4 hard courts. The pool complex is under a complete renovation currently, housing four swimming pools including a competition pool, diving pool, adult pool, and children’s pool.
