2nd Assistant Superintendent

We are looking for an individual with aspirations of becoming a Golf Course Superintendent to join our Agronomy Team at RedHawk Golf Course to fill our 2nd Assistant/Spray tech position, which will be a new position starting next year.  You will work with and report directly to the Assistant GCS & GCS.  You will experience and be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance including all tasks pertaining to the scheduled agronomic plan on greens, being part of in-house construction projects (i.e. building new tee boxes, minor hole renovations regarding aesthetics and playability, etc...), leading crew projects, golf course set up, mowing, bunker maintenance, hand-watering, and irrigation work, but mainly will be responsible for managing fertilizer applications, spray applications, product inventory, spray/fertilizer equipment upkeep, and record keeping alongside the AGCS & GCS.

With a new GCS and AGCS starting in 2021, we are looking to add to our driven, passionate team in elevating conditions to become one of the premier public golf courses in the state.  We are looking for someone who is also driven and passionate, hard working, and who knows and enjoys the game of golf.  We want an individual who is excited to LEARN and progress within this industry and who is a team player.  We are creating a culture here where we work hard doing whatever is best for the golf course while also having fun in the process!  This is a 9 month seasonal position but working towards making this a year-round position moving forward with the right individual and projected growth ahead.   Start date is scheduled for March 1 2022, but can be negotiable.
