Cog Hill Golf & Country Club is a 72 hole Public golf facility located in the Desplaines River valley of Lemont, Illinois located 30 miles southwest of Chicago. Cog Hill is the dream and work of Joe Jemsek  

Mr. Jemsek acquired Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in 1951 from the Coghill family. The property at the time consisted of two, eighteen hole golf courses. Mr. Jemsek added a third course in 1963, and then added the famous Dubsdread in 1964.

Cog Hill was built on high expectations and tradition which has created a world renowned Championship golf facility. Cog Hill has hosted professional and amateur tournaments dating back to 1970. Such tournaments include; the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links (1987), the U.S. Amateur Public Links (1970, 1989), the 97th U.S. Amateur (1997), the PGA Tour Western Open Championship (1991-2006),  the PGA Tour BMW Championship (2007, 2009-2011) and the Jr. PGA Championship(2022).

We are looking for motivated, up and coming turf professionals ready and willing to learn and forward their career. Educational Requirements

Certificate/Degree from accredited turf, agronomy, or horticulture program preferred but not required. Scholarship opportunities available.

Experience Requirements

Completed internship or 1-2 years on a course is ideal but will train a quality candidate without experience.
