Mira Vista is a unique 18-hole championship Fort Worth country club golf course that impressively winds through the Mira Vista community. This layout surrounds the multi-level clubhouse and presents an array of beautiful holes that will challenge every level of golfer. The masterful course is the creation of golf professional Tom Weiskopf and golf course architect Jay Morrish.
Daily demand for championship quality surfaces poses a healthy agronomic challenge for any level of turf experience. Mira Vista boasts some of the best tif eagle putting surfaces throughout the area and unrivaled topography. The remainder of the course is 419 bermuda with annual over seeded areas throughout the practice facility and golf course.
Assistants will work closely with all management staff and head superintendent in all aspects. This includes course setup, chemical applications, watering, irrigation repair, small in house projects, overseeding, daily and annual agronomic planning, budgeting and much more. This position is geared toward developing skills and qualities that will assist you in taking the next step in your career.
The future of Mira Vista is bright! We are slated for a full greens renovation, completely new irrigation system and much more. Preferred two-year degree or certificate in turf related field.
Previous golf course agronomy experience
Ability to perform to championship quality standards
Highly motivated and strong leader
Must be willing to lead, communicate and adapt in all scenarios.
Previous golf course maintenance experience or sports field management experience preferred.
Must be willing to work weekends and be goal oriented.
