Assistant Superintendent

Bethesda Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course located just outside of Washington D.C. The club recently completed a new irrigation system, Better Billy bunkers, and multiple tee complexes in 2020.

The club is currently evaluating a back-nine rerouting and design concept. The design would entail constructing a brand-new hole, adding a par 5-hole, and various alterations to our tee complexes to accommodate the rerouting.  Other areas of improvements would include additional bunkering, irrigation, drainage, and cart paths. Apart from the rerouting, the club would acquire a 2.5-acre short game area which would include three greens and a wedge range.  We anticipate this project taking place within the next year.

We are seeking First Assistant Superintendent who’s a hardworking self-motivated individual. Someone who can place a large emphasis on visual details and everyday improvements to the golf course. Ability to make critical decisions when obstacles occur. Experience with managing and working conjointly with staff by providing physical labor assistance.
