Seasonal Intern

The Powder Horn is a Nationally recognized 27-hole Championship caliber golf Course nestled into the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains in Beautiful Sheridan Wyoming. The original 18 holes were built in 1997 and designed by Dick Bailey, the additional 9 holes were added not long after in 2002. The Powder Horn is managed by Troon Prive Golf, the leader in private golf course management.

Besides the panoramic mountain views, The Powder Horn offers a unique golfing experience for players of all levels. With three distinct 9-hole courses the Powder Horn takes pride and commitment in maintaining them in such a manor as to how they were designed to play. The mountain 9 pays tribute to the Old Course at St. Andrews and is the Wyoming take on a rolling Scottish links style course. With even a replica of the famous Swilican Burn Bridge! Stag 9 is known for circling the middle of the property and is centralized around the Powder Horn’s famous Red Barn. Surrounded by woods and wetlands Stag 9 is a true target golf style course. Eagle 9 rounds out the Powder Horn with stunning creek side and meadow terrain as it follows Little Goose creek that runs through the property. With surprising length and challenging shot angles into greens, Eagle allows players to be as creative as they want as they make their way around the course. On top of 27 holes the Powder Horn also feature two full size practice facilities that include, 2 full length driving ranges, 2 large multi-tiered putting greens, as well as two short game practice areas.
