Seasonal Intern

Nantucket Golf Club is a private and very exclusive golf club located on an island 30 miles from Cape Cod.  Nantucket has been continuously ranked as the ‘best island’ and ‘top island’ of the US and World. It is a unique and beautiful place to spend a summer. The course was designed by Rees Jones and was named ‘Best New Private Golf Course by Golf Digest. We recently received a new fleet of equipment ranging from sprayers, reel and rotary mowers, aeration equipment, and golf carts.  This is a great opportunity to work with the newest and best equipment in the industry.

We continually improve the course through capital projects.  Upcoming projects include bunker renovations in the fall of 2023 and irrigation replacement in 2024.  This is a great opportunity for the right student to experience state of the art golf course management practices, facilities, and construction and project management.

Our goal is for every intern to be prepared for an assistant’s position after completing an internship at our club.  We provide a positive working environment and provide the necessary instruction for learning.  The opportunity for advancement to an assistant’s position at the club is available for the right candidate.
