Golf Course Superintendent

Cog Hill Golf & Country Club is a 72 hole public golf facility in Lemont, IL 30 miles southwest of Chicago. Cog Hill was purchased by the Jemsek family in 1951 as a 36 hole facility, Joe Jemsek then added a third course in 1963 and finally the world famous Dubsdread course in 1964.

Cog Hill was built on high expectations and tradition which has created a world renowned championship golf facility. We have been hosting amateur and professional golf tournaments going back to 1970. Tournaments include; 1997 U.S. Amateur, 1991-2006 PGA Tour's Western Open, 2007 & 2009-2011 BMW Championship, and the 2022 Junior PGA Championship.

We are currently working with Rees Jones Inc. on a bunker redesign and renovation to be completed in the fall of 2023. This would be a great opportunity for an up and coming turf professional to gain valuable golf course construction experience with a highly reputable architect and contractor.
