Benvenue Country Club is in search of a motivated, team oriented individual with previous assistant superintendent experience preferred.  Benvenue CC is a private, classic, 1922 Donald Ross designed 18 hole facility located in Rocky Mount, NC (45 miles east of Raleigh).  We have an amazing supportive membership.  The golf course is 85 Acres of turf and 10 acres of wooded areas.  The course is bermudagrass with 2 acres of champion bermudagrass greens. Bunkers were just renovated in the past two years with capillary concrete.  Great opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Benvenue team.  Individual must be passionate about the industry, hardworking, organized and detail oriented.  Primary responsibilities are to assist superintendent with daily operations and crew scheduling as well as pesticide and fertilizer applications, moisture management and irrigation scheduling, management and repair.

Responsibilities:

• Work with superintendent on planning maintenance of turf areas

• Oversee completion of daily tasks and assist as required

• Check for disease, weeds, soil moisture and maintenance details

• Train seasonal employees

• Self motivated and detail oriented

• Accurate record keeping of all pesticide and fertilizer applications

• Pesticide and fertilizer applications

• Irrigation scheduling, maintenance and repair

• Leadership skills with the ability to lead staff while performing their duties

• Responsibilities not limited to above
