Assistant Superintendent
Jupiter Hills Club has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Superintendent on one of our two championship golf courses.
The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the Superintendent and will be involved in all areas of golf course management including but not limited to implementation of chemical and fertilizer applications, equipment calibration, irrigation and drainage repair, water management, record keeping, and employee management and training. The Assistant Superintendent should possess a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively in a team environment with the objective of exceeding club goals and standards.
Educational Requirements
- You will work closely with the Course Superintendent and Director of Golf Course Maintenance to plan all work within the parameters of Club Goals.
- Will train and enforce all safety procedures within our team.
- Instruct and train all Equipment operators in the safe, efficient operation and care of equipment.
- Will be proactive in monitoring all agronomic aspects to provide consistent, world class conditions to our Membership.
Experience Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have credentials and experience working in a high-end golf course.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, handle multiple tasks concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines.
Special Requirements
- Should have Florida State Pesticide License or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
