Seasonal Intern

Harbor Shores, Golf Digest Top 100 Public Course, is preparing to host the 2024 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. During your internship you will be counted on to be an integral part in preparing for the tournament, gaining valuable knowledge and experience. The Harbor Shores internship program is designed to suit the successful candidate based on previous experiences and knowledge, giving you the tools to take the next step in your career.   You will gain valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance including, but not limited to; irrigation repair and operation, water management, fertilizer and chemical application and calibration, course setup, mowing operations, equipment repair and maintenance, data collection and scouting, budgeting, and beach management. Interns will be expected to help plan and execute the golf course maintenance program, assisting with daily scheduling and assignments. Potential future employment possible upon completion. 

Harbor Shores Golf Club is an 18 Hole Jack Nicklaus Signature design golf course located along the shores of Lake Michigan. The golf course is part of a 530 acre beach and golf resort that spans parts of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, MI. The par 71 golf course opened 18 holes of play in July 2010. Harbor Shores has hosted the 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2022 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship and will be the future site once again in 2024.
