Seasonal Intern

Te Arai Links is seeking two more seasonal interns/greenkeepers to join our team for the New Zealand summer. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate looking to travel and continue learning.  This could also be a great fit for an AIT looking to escape the cold weather in the winter and continue working with cool seasonal grasses. The position can be from four or five months and up to a year. 

Te Arai Links is a new semi-private club located on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. The South Course was designed by Coore & Crenshaw and the North Course was designed by Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf. The South has been open for two years and the North has been open for less than a year. We are entirely sand based, wall-to-wall fine fescue, and operate Rain Bird two wire irrigation systems with their Cirrus Pro software. The right candidate will have the opportunity perform every task available between the two courses. We are closely affiliated with Tara Iti Golf Club and all interns will have the opportunity to do a stint there. 

We are located in a fairly rural area about an hour and a half north of Auckland. You will be situated on nearly 18 kilometres of coastline and is an outdoor lovers paradise. The opportunity to either surf, swim, fish, hike, or golf everyday is a real possibility. We are a fairly large and diverse team with nearly 40 employees and several nationalities represented.
