Golf Course Superintendent
The Waterfront Country Cub located at Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Virginia, has an opening for a golf course superintendent. We are searching for an experienced individual with ambition and passion. The ideal candidate will have a background in warm season fairways (Zeon Zoysia) and cool season greens (bent). An open communication to ownership is also a requirement. Ownership does not run the grounds, but works to create the directional aspects and changes to improve the course
We search for the right person at this point that wants to be part of a team. The hire will have a crew of 6-7 people and must be willing to work. Our crew responds better when they see those in charge willing to get after it. We are not seeking someone to do it all, but rather be willing to work with the crew to move the course in a positive direction.
