Equipment/Shop Manager

This position reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent. The Golf Course Equipment Manager is responsible for maintenance and repairs on all golf course equipment and mowers.  The equipment manager will provide preventive services on a variety of riding mowers, tractors, vehicles, and equipment to include replacing filters, worn or damaged parts and adding fluids as needed. Must keep detailed maintenance records, be able to place orders and maintain inventory of needed parts, and provide a clean, safe, effective and efficient work environment.  Must have skills required to maintain reel mowers including grinding and setting reels. Responsible for preventative mechanical repairs on variety of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment as well as specialized golf course equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.
