Project Manager, East Division

• Environmental Design Inc. is known for being the best big tree transplanters in the world. We are headquartered in Texas and have offices all over the US. This project management position is for our Eastern Division.

• We transplant mature trees, supply and install big trees and custom grow trees for multi-year projects.

• We work on the finest golf courses in the world, luxury resort and hotel properties, private estates and corporate and university campuses. 

Job Summary

• This role facilitates project execution and ensures a positive experience for our clients. 

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our safety and quality standards. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules and budgets.

• Track project costs and progress, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.

• Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.

• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Delegate tasks to team members based on their skills. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, construction/heavy equipment use 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as turfgrass, horticulture, or construction science or similar. 

• Willing and able to travel

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Desired Skills and Competencies

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problem-solving aptitude, team-player mentality, and experience with specific software or industry is a plus.
