Assistant-in-Training or Crew Foreman job

Guest

I am a very attentive and passionate candidate  for golf course work. I am looking to move up the ladder and go to school for Turfgrass Management. I am a very detailed person who will make sure the job gets done right and make sure it looks the best that it can.

I have walk mowed tees, greens, and collars. I have mowed fairways, rough and triplexed greens as well. I have rolled green with a salsco and a smithco roller as well as a truturf roller. I have assisted on two green expansion projects at The Country Club of York when i spent three years there. Including everything from digging up old irrigation lines and heads to laying sod and the new irrigation loop. I have cut cups for the Us Open Qualifier as well as mowed greens for that event. I have operated an aerator and been apart of the Dryject process. Also maintained the bunkers by handraking and using a sandpro. Was apart of the handwatering team to make sure our fairways stayed hydrated.

With my time at Penn National, I have performed the same duties as at The Country Club of York. I took the Crew Foreman position and with that came the responsibility of leading the crew on the weekends and making sure the courses get setup properly. Also working directly with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to talk about what we can do to make things work more efficiently and improve the looks of the courses.
