    Colonial Springs is a private 27-hole golf course originally designed by Arthur Hills in 1994. The course underwent a major renovation in 2005-2006 by architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The facility includes a driving range, large practice area featuring a grass tee, practice bunker and short game practice area. The course is situated on 225 acres in western Suffolk County. Over the past five years the course has gone through bunker renovations and many other course improvement projects. Future course improvement projects are planned as well as updates to the maintenance facility.
