Assistant Superintendent
Martis Camp is a private residential community located in the north Lake Tahoe area. The Tom Fazio designed golf course has Penn A4 putting surfaces, Dominant Extreme bentgrass tees, and Kentucky bluegrass fairways. The golf maintenance department manages all of the club amenity landscaped areas. The assistant superintendent will assist in the management of the club landscape management program. He or she will work closely with the golf course superintendent and senior assistant to achieve the departmental goals and exceed member expectations.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should possess a turfgrass management or horticulture degree
Experience Requirements
Minimum of three years work experience in the golf course management or landscape industry. Prior experience as a second assistant or AIT at a high end club preferred.

Candidates should posses the following:

-Self motivating mentality with a desire to learn
-Strong work ethic
-Detail oriented
-Previous fertilizer and chemical application experience
-Irrigation repair and troubleshooting experience
-Spanish speaking experience preferred
