Seasonal Intern
The Roaring Fork Club is nestled on 282 acres of rich land on either side of the Roaring Fork River between Basalt and Aspen, Colorado. This par-72, 7,312 yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is sculpted along the dramatic contours of the river valley, respect for the land and the fine outdoor tradition of golf is evident in the layout of the 18-hole golf course. Our goal at The Roaring Fork Club is to provide interns with the knowledge and support necessary to become successful assistants, AITs, irrigation techs, or spray techs. It is our passion to teach and learn from our employees while giving them the opportunity to experience every facet of the golf course maintenance operation. The Roaring Fork Club Golf Course Maintenance team offers a wide range of "benefits" including continuing education, PGA Tour volunteer opportunities, networking, and exceptional on the job educational training. Educational Requirements
Enrolled or planning to enroll in a turf program.
Experience Requirements
Previous golf course experience is preferred but willing to teach the ideal candidate who is eager to learn and carries a positive attitude.
Special Requirements
This individual must be self-motivated, dependable, and dedicated to working 55-60+ hours a week as well as weekends and holidays. Candidates must show a strong sense of urgency while having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The desire to learn and progress in the Turf industry is a plus. Must have a positive attitude and work as a team player within the staff.
