Irrigation Technician
Ptarmigan CC is a Jack Nicklaus designed, privately owned 18 hole championship layout in Northern Colorado. Although your main job will be irrigation you will be involved in all aspects of the golf maintenance operation.
The Irrigation Foreman will be directly accountable to the Golf Course Superintendent and work closely with the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent(s) on a daily basis.
It is expected of the Irrigation Foreman to keep the Golf Course Irrigation System, Toro field quipment, Lynx control and Watertronics pump controls, in top quality operating condition at all times under the guidelines established by the Superintendent.
Educational Requirements
- High School or equivalent degree
- Basic computer skills
Experience Requirements
- Need to have serious interest in the golf course maintenance industry.
- 1 to 2 years golf course Irrigation maintenance and repairs.
- Experience in Toro equipment and Lynx control preferred
Special Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- Physical strength and agility to perform the job.
