Seasonal Intern

Trout National - The Reserve is a private 18 hole golf course currently in the middle of construction.  TGR Design is creating a unique, championship golf course on the former site of a quarry in southern New Jersey.  Visit the website below for more information about the club.  A brand new maintenance facility, Rain Bird IC system, John Deere equipment package, and employee housing are underway.

We are currently looking to fill a seasonal intern position.   All interns will be involved in the planning, growing in, and maintenance of all golf course grounds.  This is an opportunity to participate in all phases of construction, irrigation installation, turf establishment, and crew management at a world class site.

Interns will work closely with the management team and be exposed to:

• Construction, seeding, and establishment of USGA bentgrass greens
• Establishment and maintenance of all other playing surfaces
• Pre-plant fertilizer applications
• Chemical applications
• Water management and use of Rainbird IC system
• Use of golf course cultivation equipment
