Tired of working outside in hot and humid weather? If so, work a golf season in cool, crisp Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and experience the magic of Teton Sunrises. We are looking two motivated individuals to assist Shooting Star’s Golf Course Maintenance team during the timeframe of April-October. Shooting Star is a Golf Digest top 100 Tom Fazio Designed private club that is located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Ski Resort and one mile from Grand Teton National Park. Additional benefits of working here are we will provide a Wyoming Fishing License, Summer Bike Pass to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and option of either a season ski pass to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or yearend bonus after completing the Golf Maintenance season… Earn your turns!!!

The Golf Maintenance Crewman at Shooting Star will be a hands-on and active position involved in all aspects of Golf Course Maintenance and work directly under the Assistant Superintendents and Golf Course Manager. Duration of employment is April-October (April 15- Nov. 1). World class bentgrass is maintained on all greens, tees, approaches, and fairways. Kentucky bluegrass roughs, and 126 acres of fine fescue native cover the remaining surfaces of the 256-acre facility. Examples of daily roles to be performed are, daily mowing, hand watering, irrigation repairs, drainage/course improvement projects, vegetation management, tractor/implement work, bunker improvements, course set-up, snow removal, chemical/fertilizer mixing & applications and more. Interested applicants who want to work hard and have fun, need to email a cover letter and resume addressed to: Golf Course Manager, Tyler Shrum tshrum@shootingstarjh.com .
