Assistant Superintendent

The Grove Golf Course is a semi-private club located in Clermont Florida.  The course is designed by Terry Lagree.   The 3,000,000 dollar plus renovation includes modernized irrigation  system and bunker repairs, re-grassing of the fairways with Bimini Bermuda and resurfacing of the greens with Sunday Bermuda grass.  Many green surrounds have been updated with native/ornamental grasses to enhance the look of the course.   The golf holes are nestled around the Summit Greens housing Development.  It features terrain that you will not find any where else in Florida.   Some holes have between 80 to 120 feet of elevation change.  Players will choose from five sets of tees to accomadate different skill levels.  The course also features a new  Top Tracer driving range with 30 bays.

A valid Fl drivers license, Florida pesticide applicators license of ability to obtain

Assists in the oversight of the overall maintenance of the golf course.  Ensures the proper appilication and handling of chemicals and fertilizers

Responsibilities of the Assistant Superintendent include but not limited to:

Ability to work  outdoors in various climates lift and move 100 lbs

Works with the Superintendent to ensure that the annual golf course maintenance 

Assists in the planning, organizing and direction of the maintenance of the golf course

Keeps records of annual maintenance activities and costs

Manages department members

Regular and reliable attendance 

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
